1. Add user to freebsd using “adduser” for detail http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/users-modifying.html.

to view group of a user use “id [username'"

2. add user to samba using "smbpasswd -a [username]“

Install Mysql on Freebsd

copy mysql tar bar into /usr/ports/distfiles
#cp mysql-5.1.53.tar.gz /usr/ports/distfiles

copy mysql ports to /usr/ports/databases
#cp mysql51-server.tar.gz /usr/ports/databases

change to /usr/ports/databases and remove mysql51-server
# cd /usr/ports/databases
# rm mysql51-server

unpack the ports
# tar zxvf mysql51-server.tar.gz

go to mysql51-server directory and edit makefile and add –with-innodb save
# cd mysql51-server
# ee Makefile

#make install -DBUILD_STATIC -DBUILD_OPTIMIZED

create dbdir

#mkdir /usr/dbdir
#chown mysql:mysql /usr/dbdir
#chmod 777 /usr/dbdir

edit /etc/rc.conf
mysql_enable=”YES”
mysql_dbdir=”/usr/dbdir”

My First Java Application

The file was created on September 23, 2005 using Notepad application on Windows XP and compiled by JDK 5. How time flies. It’s already almost five years since then.

Second Photos with Air Force Plane

Today, i and my friends went to air force base at Hang Nadim to see their combat machine such as F5 Tiger, Hawk 100, Hawk 200, Hercules, and Puma. This is my second time visiting the air force base. The first time i went there was to see the F-16 Fighting Falcon (written in another post). I am surprised that this time i can see 5 types of machines. This is also my first time seeing a combat helicopter in real. I wish i could ride it. hehehe.

A little update

It’s been a while since my last post. Not that because i am getting lazy (a little actually), but i have so much work to do. So today i made my mind to spare a little time to update this blog a little. Today, i want to talk about events in GG this year. So far we have three events in GG in this 2008 year.

The first one is Ussy’ performance in GG. I don’t have the picture because i went to Jakarta and by the time i came back, the pictures were already deleted.

The second event is performance with Aura Kasih. She is the finalist of Miss Indonesia 2007. She sang a few song of her albums like Mari Bercinta, Mata Keranjang, Memory, etc. The audience reception is not bad either.

The third event is GG’s 5th birthday. In this event, we had dancers and performance from Ika Putri. On 12 AM, the management of GG celebrated it’s birthday by openning champagne.

That’s all for the events this year and i am looking forward to see the end-of -year event.
